Lemonade from fresh squeezed lemons
There is nothing better that fresh squeezed lemonade! I consider instant or powdered "lemonades" to be lemon flavored beverages. If you have a lemon tree you probably juice and freeze your excess, well, that which you didn't share with family, friends, co-workers and food banks. I also freeze thinly sliced lemons flat on a plastic wrap lined baking sheet and then put them in a freezer container labeled "lemon slices" to be use in beverages and food preparations during the year. Lemons that I am juicing are run over a grating plan so that I have zest in the freezer for all kinds of baking and cooking during the year. So zest your lemons before making lemonade or before freezing the juice for lemonade come summer!
